What Happens When Account Locked

archaeological small examples.

This brief entry is dedicated to Lobardo, for his entry "KILL TO EAT" in which I asked for some pictures of the profile of the tile had acquired.

Well, as promised, and because I'm going to put in the hard task of explaining how to do the drawing of pottery pieces, simply leave a few examples of archaeological drawing made by me in museum practices and during the race. A handful of all I've done, which is not plan, nor want to get "copy" the pictures, or think you can teach some lightly because they are "owned" by the museum in question even though I was its author.
not going to get me to explain the pottery types and others, simply put a another example.

In the drawing archaeological ceramic or drawing is to go through a complete piece or a fragment or more draw your shape. (The methodology, as I said, I will not explain, which is long). Being shown in the drawing, left say the "cut" or profile of the piece, and on the right side piece from the outside.

The first example is a complete drawing. Freehand past the original paper and pencil.
I did internship at the University, this is a model imitation of Roman pottery, to practice, not to make the goat with real ceramic plate.

is an actual imitation of Terra Hispanic Sigilatta Drag type. 15-17, I-III centuries AD approximately.
As actual imitation, has some features that would not have an original model and lacks others.

This is the only one who left the data as it is a model "recreated." And I put the link because I do not want this picture to be copied by fellow race that Google is looking for the same drawing of the part you are drawing on practices and who can not draw well (there are those who draw well and there who no.) hehehe.

Edit: And as more or less a model Sigilatta Dragendorff 15-17, as follows:

animation I've found by google. Dragendorff dish is 15-17, but fragmented, as can be seen, and the small circle indicates the seal flashing producer of ceramics. This stamp or "sigillum" is what gives the name to the type of pottery production, the "Terra Sigillata" by the leading sigillum.

Next drawing.
This I did in the museum that it was in practice just a year, although I did the original as is the museum (I have a scan of my work).

Escudella base fragment with heraldic motifs, Paterna-Manises ceramics, XIV-XV centuries.

The drawing I have not come to Freehand. I have deleted so far paint the base and other data. Top right is drawn inside the heraldic since it was remarkable.

And I have a picture right when I was in the process of drawing this piece.
My hands removing the internal profile of the piece with the out-profile or "gauge profile."

And this is a photo of the original fragment heraldic.

And how is a escudella?. Would be like something like the right piece.
In image, Plato and the fifteenth century Escudella found in Barcelona (image taken from the network).

Edito
to May 2, 2010: The manual that we use for medieval pottery types in the museum was this.
BARCELÓ Crespi, MARIA: " Terrisse: Documentaries activities per a l'students Majorcan ceramics segle XV. Barcelona, \u200b\u200bEditorial Canon, 1996.

And this is their home. (photo obtained from a website selling books) .

Another example.
This I did in class practices in school (the same one where I did the drawing of the Dragendorff 15-17), with an Iberian pottery shard pile was in the box of Iberian pottery fragments. (Note that it, make it only professionally, spoliation is a criminal activity.)

pot is a border or locally produced Iberian cooking, I-II century BC? (This is my deduction because I do not corrijió the teacher in class.)
Freehand is gone, and I pray I apologize, the original file in freehand appears damaged and I had to copy and paste the picture on a smaller scale I put in the work of synthesis of practices. In this case as an exception say, its edge or mouth diameter is 18'7 cm.

Well, I have the scanned picture too, what the hell, here I leave though it looks very little. And since it is a quick post as an example I put a final example, by way of grace that I did last year in practice.
In the room where we were making the pictures in the museum had a glass like this:
And I began to draw. And this is his picture.
This I have not deleted anything because it is a worthless cup.
the doll is drawn and the dog because the parts, the external decoration is drawn on the part of the external profile.
I also say, as it was a joke, not drawn well at all, since the shape is slightly flared with the mouth more open.

...........................
Well all here at the moment. :)

Greetings to all.
Here in the photo, I last year in practice in the museum, with pictures, posing with the funny hat to Safari / model Egyptologists. jejejejeje. :)

Ay! Archaeology!, a day devoted to it is something like a dream, to see what I do with my life!
